Christmas Song by Escape The Fate –
I sat on Santa’s lap
And I whispered in his ear
Everything I hoped to get
Then I slipped and I pulled his beard
It was an accident
as I fell from his knee
But he was quite mad
I said Santa I’m so sorry
I didn’t get a ho ho ho
He didn’t even say that’s quite all right
So I slowly walked away
And when I went to sleep that night
I couldn’t help but wonder
Even though I was good all year
If I would be forgotten on Christmas Eve
All because I pulled Santa’s beard

Have a sad one and an upbeat one for you today.
Miss You Most At Christmas Time by Larry Stewart –

25th by Tori Kelly –
“25th”
Don’t you know that Christmas would be incomplete
If you’re not here with me
Sugar plums ain’t half as sweet as you
Someone go tell Santa I don’t need no gifts
Got nothing on my list
Don’t you know my only wish is to hold you on the 25th?
Season’s here, lights appear
Spread the cheer everywhere, what a year it has been
Got me dreamin’
Oh, the place where we’re safe
From the cold, your embrace
Oh, I just can’t wait
To be home again
Catch the midnight flight
No more silent nights
I’ll be by your side
Oh
Don’t you know that Christmas would be incomplete
If you’re not here with me
Sugar plums ain’t half as sweet as you
Someone go tell Santa I don’t need no gifts
Got nothing on my list
Don’t you know my only wish is to hold you on the 25th?
(Fa-la-la-la-la)
Oh
(Fa-la-la-la-la)
Yeah, yeah
(Hold you on the 25th)
Fancy bags, Cadillacs
None of that, keep the tags
I can do without
I just want one thing
Fireside burnin’ bright
Mistletoe hangin’ high, my only desire
If you’re listening
Catch the midnight flight
No more silent nights
It’s been the longest time
Oh, yeah
Don’t you know that Christmas would be incomplete
If you’re not here with me
Sugar plums ain’t half as sweet as you
Someone go tell Santa I don’t need no gifts
Got nothing on my list
Don’t you know my only wish is to hold you on the 25th?
(Fa-la-la-la-la)
Oh
(Fa-la-la-la-la)
No, no, no
I just want to hold you on the 25th
So catch the midnight flight
No more silent nights
I’ll be by your side
Don’t you know that Christmas would be incomplete (That Christmas, oh, yeah)
If you’re not here with me (If you’re not here with me, baby)
Sugar plums ain’t half as sweet as you (You)
Someone go tell Santa I don’t need no gifts (Tell him I don’t need no gifts)
Got nothing on my list (Oh)
Don’t you know my only wish (My only wish)
Is to hold you on the 25th?
I just wanna hold you, baby
(Fa-la-la-la-la)
Oh
(Fa-la-la-la-la)
I just wanna hold you, baby (Ha)
(Hold you on the 25th)
Doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo-doo
(Fa-la-la-la-la)
So get over here, babe
Oh, yeah

I could not decide on one song today by Jamie Cullum so here are two for you to enjoy.
Lyrics are below the videos.
Beautiful, Altogether –
Christmas Never Gets Old –
“Beautiful, Altogether”
We are beautiful, when we’re altogether
Round a table that could burst at the seams
Singing old melodies
That just live on the breeze
We are magical, when we’re altogether
With the holly and the ivy in bloom
Share a present or two
With a warm merry tune
Decorating the room
I know that we’ve been untethered
But it’s true, whatever the weather
We’re beautiful when we’re altogether
Just once a year
We’ll gather here
And bring out all the joy of festive cheer
Familiar scenes
The same routines
Of paper crowns and mistletoe and old movies
We are beautiful, when we’re altogether
Why don’t you and I just drift back to shore?
Where the fireplace roars
From the rooftops we’ll call
Merry Christmas to all!
I know that we’ve been untethered
Now come home, where there’s always shelter
We’re beautiful when we’re all together
Christmas Never Gets Old-
It may be a seasoned story
But find a greater feeling
When driving along down the road to home
Christmas, never gets old
I don’t get tired of the singing
Or eating the same old things
Love every one of the rituals
Christmas, never gets old
All the presents are wrapped and the stockings are hung
All the children relieved all the waiting is done
The houses aglow
Now look up! Mistletoe!
Let’s get, on with the show
All of the usual faces
Church bells are reeling me in
Gimme red and green, silver and gold
Christmas, never gets old
All the presents are wrapped and the stockings are hung
All the children relieved all the waiting is done
The houses aglow
Now look up! Mistletoe!
Let’s get, on with the show
All of the usual faces
Church bells are reeling me in
Gimme red and green, silver and gold
Christmas, never gets old
Christmas, never gets old
‘Twas the week before Christmas
And there was trouble at the North Pole
Several of Santa’s reindeer wanted out of the business
They said working every Christmas Eve is getting old
They told Santa they wouldn’t be flying this year
Led by Donner but followed by Comet, Vixen, and Prancer
Donner tried to organize all the reindeer
But Cupid, Blitzen, Dasher, and Dancer
Those four said no, we enjoy traveling around the globe
We only work one day a year
We love seeing the children and bringing hope
Bringing wonders, gifts, and cheer
We have 364 days of rest and that is just one perk
We can train and relax and take long vacations
You are silly for protesting one night of work
There is no reason for you four to have this frustration
The arguing and bickering was causing more of a division
Both sides believed they were right
Cupid, Blitzen, Dasher, and Dancer made a difficult decision
They agreed right there and then on that fateful night
They had been friends and worked together for years
But the time had come and they could no longer be friends
Donner, Comet, Vixen, and Prancer changed too much it appears
The stress and the fighting seemed to never end
They were sad but they knew they had to go their own way
If they stayed friends Santa would think they revolted too
They liked their jobs and knew there was nothing else they could say
So they severed all ties, it wasn’t easy but it was the wisest thing to do
Santa came and saw the division that had taken place
He saw how Cupid, Blitzen, Dasher, and Dancer had to decide
To not associate with the others that would bring them disgrace
Santa knew he had to find four new reindeer for his sleigh ride
Cupid, Blitzen, Dasher, and Dancer would persevere
They were joined by Cinnamon, Gumdrop, Sparkles, and Peppermint
So listen up my friends and learn from these reindeer
If you hang with the wrong crowd it is only imminent
That you too will find yourself in a sticky situation
And in trouble you will find yourself likely
To have a sturdy house you must have a strong foundation
Listen to your heart and choose your friends wisely

How is Santa ever gonna find us here in this little ol’ town?
How will eight great big reindeer land on the top of our house?
A Little Magic… A Little Magic
A little magic in the air
A Little Magic… A Little Magic
Can’t you feel the magic everywhere?
How does he know what we’ve been up to? If we’ve been good or bad?
How will he slide right down our chimney, just think of all the cookies he’s had
A Little Magic… A Little Magic
A little magic in the air
A Little Magic… A Little Magic
Can’t you feel the magic everywhere?
When your eyes are closed, when the sky won’t snow, when it’s hardest to believe…
he’s counting on you and me
That’s how he does it, that’s how does he make it all the way around the world
The more we believe, the clearer he sees the wishes of every boy and girl
And it’s Magic, oh it’s Magic
A little magic in the air
A Little Magic… A Little Magic
Can’t you feel the magic everywhere?
Oh it’s magic. it’s everywhere
A Little Magic by Liz Longley –

A Christmas prayer
For the ones out there
Who aren’t full of happiness and cheer
Who are depressed and worn out this time of year
This time of year can be tough
Sometimes you just want to scream ENOUGH!
Maybe it’s the loss of a loved one
Or past hurts that have been done
Everyone else seems full of glee
You’re thinking “everyone but me”
You aren’t the only one faking a smile
Remember the season is because of the birth of a child
It’s not the decorations or presents
Or all the parties and events
Here is an open invitation
To join in the celebration

No gifts to bring or trees to decorate
Whenever you are ready, we will wait
A genuine heart with love to give
I believe you are meant to live
Do not give up, Do not be dismayed
If you are having a string of bad days
There is a hope for a better tomorrow
One not promised without sorrow
One not promised without pain
One not promised without rain
One promised that you are never alone
One promised that you have a home
One promised that you are loved
One promised of HOPE, sealed by His blood

I can’t promise tomorrow will be better
I can promise you have a helper
Instead of falling down it’s time to rise up
Don’t give up when you’ve had enough
The night will fall and the sun will soon shine
Please, please give it some more time
Tomorrow is new
Perhaps a blessing for you
Tomorrow will soon be here
And maybe, just maybe, it’ll be your year
A baby boy was born in a manger
Don’t let him be a stranger
Get to know hope, love, forgiveness and grace
Tomorrow you will gladly embrace
I want you to know you are known
And that you aren’t alone
Don’t give up, YOU are loved, even when you are blue
This is my Christmas prayer for you

Talk to your doctor if you are feeling sad for long periods of time. They can refer you to a mental health specialist. If your feelings of sadness during the holidays are accompanied by suicidal thoughts, do one of the following immediately:
You can improve your mood by practicing self-care during the holidays. Eat a healthy diet, and maintain a regular sleep pattern and exercise program. According to the kept Primary Care Companion to the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, as little as 30-minutes of cardiovascular exercise can provide an immediate mood boost similar to the effects of an antidepressant medication. Joining a support group where you talk to people with similar experiences to yours can also help.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE AND YOU HAVE WORTH AND YOU ARE LOVED MORE THAN YOU KNOW!

Lots of songs but couldn’t decide to put suicide or hope or someone loves you song so put a mix of all them.
